An Evening with the Temptations
Wednesday, May 9
Dress Code: Business/Cocktail.
Recommended suits for men, cocktail dress for the women.
Thanks to their fine-tuned choreography- and even finer harmonies- the Temptations became the definitive male vocal group of the 1960’s. During the Seventies, in the spirit of that album-oriented era, the Temptations recorded some of their strongest work. During the Eighties, they continued touring and recording and in the Nineties, the band was the focus of seemingly endless anthologies on television.
Today, the Temptations are still on the road with Otis Williams, first/second tenor; Ron Tyson, first tenor; Barrington Henderson, baritone; Terry Weeks, first/second tenor and baritone; and Harry McGillberry, bass. They hold the circle of time in their hands and hearts as one of the most beloved R&B groups in history. Their sound has endured through the decades and their music is still heard on radio stations today.
Performing such hits as:
- Ain’t Too Proud to Beg
- The Way You Do the Things You Do
- My Girl
- Just My Imagination
And so many more! Join us for an evening of some of Motown’s greatest hits. No matter what your age, you will be dancing and singing along to classic hits.
This is an evening for adults. We respectfully ask that you make arrangements for young children.
